| description |
The lovers created by the fantasy of french
Raymond Peynet became the protagonists of an Italian animation
movie with screenplay by Manfredo Manfredi, based on the best-seller
book by Peynet.
This movie has debuted on the 14th june of 1974 becoming an
huge popular success.
For the music score were engaged two big names of Film Music:
Academy winner Ennio Morricone and Alessandro Alessandroni,
the famous whistle of many italian westerns, conductor of the
famous choir of I Cantori Moderni, arranger and composer of
several scores.
In Japan from those days until today a 33 rpm album, two singles
and in the more recent years three different hard to find today
CD editions.
To celebrate the 14th February, Valentine's day, world festivity
of the lovers, GDM Music is glad to present this OST for the
first time on Italian CD.
The beautiful score with many ethnical colours by Alessandroni
and the love theme by Morricone are the perfect background of
the Peynet's lovers travelling around the world.
The soundtrack in full stereo digitally remastered and restored
comes directly from the original session tapes, contains every
recorded music note, including the very much requested vocal
version of Forse basta, the love theme written by Ennio Morricone
in the very rare, splendid performance of Demis Roussos, contained
in the movie and issued only on a very hard to find Japanese
single. |
